Padubidri Port
 

        Since this is a new port situated in the North of Mulki river open to the sea, facilities have to be created.  It is expected 
 larger import of cargo could be handled through this port by developing infrastructure facilities through interested private 
 participation.  This port was proposed to serve Nandikur thermal power project.  This is now also suitable import of coal
 etc., and export of Iron ore etc., if developed.

          Recently M/s. Getech Pvt., Ltd., have shown interest to develop this port for Import / Export of crude  and POL
 product by their own investment.
